The lands of Albion Online are becoming more and more alive in anticipation for the release of Lands Awakened. In a post on the official website, Game Director James Withers outlines some exciting new features in store for players with this update
The news regarding Albion Online’s impending Lands Awakened upgrade continues to pour in. It’s maybe not surprising that the November 24th patch would offer stuff for players to fight over, given that this new update is focused about fostering guild conflict. One of them is the hideaway power core, a spawning item in the Outlands that may be caught and returned to a spot for specific advantages; think of it as a more frequent version of the update’s energy vortex and energy crystals.
These new spawnable artifacts are linked to the headquarters hideaway, another new concept introduced in Lands Awakened. Guilds may designate one of their hideouts as an HQ, making it invulnerable to assault. A hideaway must be fueled by – you guessed it – power cores in order to remain a headquarters. The location of an HQ hiding is important since some high-quality zones will demand more power, and when power is low, the building becomes susceptible.
Earning enough Season Points in prior seasons allows players to establish HQ hideouts, with higher levels enabling HQ hideouts to be located in better-quality zones. More particular information may be found in the text or in the video embedded below.
