Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will be taking on Taylor Heinicke and his Buccaneers. With a win, he’ll guarantee himself a playoff spot for the first time since 2008: but if not, there’s always next year right?
The “who is tom brady playing for” is a question that has been asked by many. Tom Brady will be returning to the field in week 16 against the Buccaneers, but the news of his injury was unfortunate.
The last time the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Washington Football Team met in the NFC Wild Card round, it was in the NFC Wild Card round. On Sunday, Tom Brady and Taylor Heinicke will face off once again, but this time under very different circumstances.
The Buccaneers are prospering and seem to be on their way back to the Super Bowl. Washington, on the other hand, is 2-6 and has struggled to find success on either side of the ball.
Brady and the Buccaneers, on the other hand, got some devastating injury news that will require the 44-year-old quarterback to shift his emphasis when Sunday arrives.
Taylor Heinicke vs. Tom Brady once again
Surprisingly, these two quarterbacks met in the NFC Wild Card round. Of course, the Bucs triumphed and went on to win the Super Bowl, but Heinicke’s performance was the talk of the league.
With Alex Smith sidelined, Washington turned to Heinicke, who had been preparing for exams and out of the NFL for a few weeks. But he took the stage on the grandest stage, falling just short of a massive upset against the Buccaneers.
This time, Heinicke’s team is rapidly deteriorating, while the Bucs are once again the obvious favorites. The NFL, on the other hand, has been strange, and anything may happen at any time — just ask the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.
Brady will not be helped by the Buccaneers’ injury report.
Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski have received terrible news from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Buccaneers’ Head Coach Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski have been declared out of Sunday’s game against the WFT by Bruce Arians. Chris Godwin’s status will be decided before the game.

The Buccaneers have received some bad news. Once again, Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski have been ruled out. Chris Godwin is a game-time decision, and he might miss Sunday’s game as well.
If Godwin also misses the game, Mike Evans will be the main wide receiver, and expect him to have a big day. If Godwin isn’t on the field, Tyler Johnson might get more targets.
Chris Godwin is at Bucs practice this morning, wearing a helmet no less, meaning he’ll be able to travel and play against Washington on Sunday.

Godwin may take heart in that, particularly after missing practice earlier in the week. Is this going to be a Leonard Fournette showdown versus a shaky Washington defense?
Only time will tell, but as long as Tom Brady is on the field, Tampa Bay should be alright.
Buccaneers injuries have continued to climb after the bye week.

The Super Bowl champs are still dealing with ailments. Brown and Gronkowski are both expected to lose more time with unknown timeframes, and Godwin’s recent injury is problematic even if he is able to play. Dee Delaney and Jason Pierre-Paul are also on the list of suspects.
Nonetheless, Tampa Bay’s 6-2 record on the other side of the bye week is encouraging. Brady’s MVP performance helps, and Fournette has been a nice surprise this season. Furthermore, they have just two games left against clubs with winning records.
The Carolina Panthers (twice) and the New York Jets are the last three games of the season, thus Bruce Arians’ club is in terrific shape.
